Oooooh soooooleeeeee mioooo!

 It looked as if a certain Silvio Berlusconi successfully managed to return to the political arena, despite the fact that his previous actions had severly damaged his reputation (for good reason, I believe). Anyhow, I really liked the idea of this undead...coming back...again...and again...much to the understandable dismay of a lot of Italians...

Oh yes, today starts a 3 part series of caricature portrait playing cards in the magazine NEWS-
the cards feature the Austrian Ski Team, and are being published just in time for Ski World Championship starting in Schladming, Austria soon. So here comes the first set:

MERRY XMAS everyone!

It's been a busy year once again, and I couldn't update my blog as often as I would've liked, so here a few updates before 2012 is history again:

Here a recent cover I did for the Bananenblatt (I made a special Xmas edition of it... so don't be surprised if the printed cover will look slightly different...

Last Thursday was the opening of an exhibition for the recently published book "Alles Bestens" -

the opening was a great success and real fun, thanks again to everyone who came -

and spread the word, if you like the exhibition. The book itself is also very cool - it offers a unique view, both historic and contemporary, on the Austrian caricature & cartoon scene - check it out:

The exhibition will be open until February 17th 2013- every day, so if you happen to be in Vienna around Xmas (or later), check it out in the Museumsquartier, Freiraum/Quartier 21.
And finally...my own book "Fürstlicher Senf" is still available...and it still makes an excellent gift....

 It's been a while since I posted some new work, the book "Fürstlicher Senf" must have kept me busy, somehow. Anyhow, here some new portraits, finished the last few days- for Jack Nicholson's 75th birthday- the other is German comedian Barbara Schöneberger who was presenter for the Austrian ROMY award on April 21st 2012 - enjoy!
